Summary

 

 

I have acquired two years M.Sc. in water resource engineering with background of four year bachelor degree science in civil engineering. I have four years of experiences in water resources, highway and housing sectors. I have also expertise in AutoCAD, HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center River System Analysis), SAP 2000 (Structural Analysis Program), SW Roads (Road Designing Application), SW DTM (Digital Terrain Modeling Application) and GIS (Geographic Information System) for mapping, modeling and design of civil works. Moreover, I am proficient user of MS Office packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Power Point, etc.).

Major Professional Experiences:

I have thoroughly involved from formulation, feasibility study (hydraulic analysis, hydrological calculation and design of road), detailed engineering design (structural design of structure and detail design of road), and preparation of bidding documents and construction of hydropower projects in Nepal namely Lower Manang Marsyangdi Hydroelectric Project (140MW), Thapa Khola Hydroelectric Project (11.29MW) and Tadi Khola Hydropower project (5MW).

 

 

 

Work undertaken:

·              Hydraulic analysis and design of civil structures. This includes preparation of drawing with the help of AutoCAD software, cost estimation and preparation of bill of quantity (BOQ).

·              Structural analysis and detail design of civil structure with the aid of SAP 2000 software. Different Indian codes are used in analysis and design. This covers the preparation of construction drawing with reinforcement details, bar bending schedule, cost estimation and bill of quantity (BOQ).

·              Preparation of design basis memorandum (DBM) report, feasibility study report and detail engineering design report.

·              Preparation of general specification, technical specification, bill of quantity (BOQ), and final bidding document for civil works.

·              Checking of drawings details and DBM, specifications, design report, construction schedule and other engineering data received from coworker engineers. Coordinate other team member and supervisor for planning and implementation of design.

·              Assist supervisor in competitive bidding process for selecting and evaluating subcontractors for construction.

·              Construction supervision and provide management service to hydropower project.

·              Assist supervisor to supervise additional surveys and field investigations. And, conducting field visit, inspection and preparation of field report.

·              Computation of the flood hydraulics of the river for different years return period with the help of HEC–RAS river model for headwork and power house and preparation of hydrological report.

·              Calculation of the hydrological analysis including monthly flow hydrograph, flow duration curve, flood frequency analysis and computation of flood peaks for headwork and power house.

·              Due diligence of hydro projects including project cost estimation.

·              Preparation of layout plans, cross sections, elevations, river training works and protection works of power house with the help of AutoCAD software.

·              Design of several kilometers access roads based on Government of Nepal design guidelines which includes geometric design of the road alignment, design of the drainage structure, culvert, causeway and retaining structures. The design of these access roads was carried out with the help of SW-Roads and SW-DTM software and drawing is prepared using AutoCAD software.

·              Hydrological and hydraulic analysis of bridge and culvert structures.

·              Digitization of map using GIS software.

·              Design of residential building in Nepal by using AutoCAD software.

·              Assist supervisor in implementing company policies and procedures. 

·              Building proper coordination with various sections, divisions and outside organizations.
